U.S. Embassy in Uruguay: Seeking Applications for Cultural and Educational Grants

The U.S. Embassy’s Public Affairs Section in Montevideo, Uruguay is seeking applications for its Cultural and Educational Grants to support projects proposed by Uruguayan non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and cultural/educational organizations that aim to promote exchanges between the United States and Uruguay.

The Embassy will select, in particular, projects that have a strong link to the United States and promote economic development, social justice, and/or security between their two nations.

Grants cannot be used to fund religious or partisan political activity or for: fundraising campaigns; commercial projects or for-profit ventures; individual academic research projects; construction projects; or projects whose primary objective is an organization’s institutional development or an individual’s personal enrichment or career development.

Funding Information

Typically, grants range from $5,000 to $15,000 US dollars.
