U.S. – Japan Collaboration on Cybersecurity Program

Deadline: 15-Apr-22

The U.S. Embassy Tokyo’s Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Department of State is pleased to announce an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a program to address U.S. – Japan Collaboration on Cybersecurity to advance both United States’ and Japan’s national security and economic prosperity.

Program Objective: Strengthening the international partnerships on cybersecurity is a top priority for the United States. The world faces enormous cybersecurity challenges from both state and non-state actors. It is critical for the U.S.-Japan Alliance that both nations play a leading role in enhancing cybersecurity cooperation to address shared threats while promoting secure connectivity and a vibrant digital economy.

The Embassy welcomes proposals that address cyber security issues in Japan by developing innovative strategies to foster improvements to both public and private sector cybersecurity capacity-building efforts; this may include programs that promote cybersecurity education, training, and workforce development globally to address current and future cybersecurity challenges, as well as Internet freedom.
