U.S. Mission to Austria: Generation Next Youth Leadership Initiative

Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program in Kosovo

The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Vienna is inviting proposals to design and implement a two-to-three week program entitled “Generation Next Youth Leadership Initiative” that will provide at least 10 Austrian university students the opportunity to examine the dynamic processes of integration while learning the principles of civic education, leadership, respect for diversity, and community engagement through leadership development program in the United States.

Applicants should propose a training program to foster the leadership and professional skills of young Austrians with a demonstrated interest in promoting the integration and participation of refugees and immigrants in the political, economic and social institutions of Austria while exposing them to American cultures and values that are the basis of our historic success in integrating newcomers into the social, cultural and economic fabric of our country.

Eligibility Criteria

Public and private non-profit organizations and institutions of higher education meeting the provisions described in Internal Revenue Code section 26 USC 501(c)(3) may submit proposals.
