U.S. Mission to Niger: Responding to Niger’s Demographic Challenge

CRL YALI DAKAR Training Program Open Now!

Deadline: 20 July 2018

The U.S. Embassy Niamey is pleased to announce an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out projects addressing Niger’s Demographic Challenge that prioritize supporting education, reproductive health, family planning, and youth entrepreneurship.

The Ambassador’s Special Self-Help (SSH) program is a grass-roots assistance program that allows U.S. embassies to respond quickly to local requests for small community-based development projects.

The purpose of the Special Self-Help program is to fund grants for small development activities that generate public awareness of U.S. foreign assistance efforts but that fall outside the structure of other established U.S. assistance projects.
