The U.S. Embassy in Lomé, Togo, through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), is pleased to announce an open competition for organizations to submit applications to implement a project that will increase youth political participation at the local level across Kpendjal 1, Kpendjal Ouest 2, Tone 1, Oti Sud 1, Keran 1, Tchamba 1, Tchaoudjo 1, Anié 1 and Agoe-nyive 4 (Zongo).
Program Objectives: The overall objective of this funding proposal is to help reduce the risk of extremist violence by increasing the political participation of youth and promoting community dialogue, transparency, and accountability of local elected officials.

Eligibility Criteria
- The following organizations are eligible to apply:
- Not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations
- Public and private educational institutions
- Public International Organizations and Governmental institutions
- For-profit and commercial firms are not eligible to apply in response to this NOFO.
Note: U.S. NGOs should demonstrate in country local expertise and have local experts to assist in project implementation.
