UN Women announces CFPs for NGOs, Academic Institutions and Registered Community Based Organizations in Afghanistan

CFPs: Support to the National Preventive Mechanism and the Ombudsperson (Kyrgyzstan)

UN Women has launched a Call for Proposals (CFPs) for NGOs, Academic Institutions and Registered Community based Organisations to establish and run National Young Women’s Network on Women, Peace and Security.

This call seeks proposals that can support young women’s voices and enhance their engagement in the peace and security agenda through the establishment and management of a National Young Women’s Network on Women, Peace and Security. The successful implementing partner will have a deep understanding of the necessity of women, especially young women’s, participation and leadership in bringing peace, have technical capacity to develop and manage the network with a nation-wide reach, and have the right technical, financial and conceptual background to effectively implement the project.

This call seeks to fund interventions that enhance women’s engagement in peacebuilding and conflict resolution in Afghanistan.

Timeframe

Proposals should be 12 months in duration.

Competencies

UN Women Afghanistan is looking to partner with a national registered nongovernmental organization to carry out the activities listed in this CfP. The partners NGO must have the following technical and functional competencies.
