UN Women Call for Proposals: Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women and Girls and Host Communities in Turkey

UN Women is inviting non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and academic institutions working in the areas of women’s empowerment, gender equality, violence against women, community engagement, conflict resolution, social inclusion, elimination of violence against women, refugee response and resilience to submit proposals to implement activities and deliver results under respective outputs mentioned below targeting Syrian women and host community nationals primarily in Gaziantep (with possible extension to other cities with large Syrian populations), under the Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women and Girls and Host Communities in Turkey Programme.

This call for proposals is launched in the context of the Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women and Girls and Host Communities in Turkey Programme implemented by UN Women with the financial contribution of the European Union and the Governments of Japan and Iceland.

In line with the programme results framework UN Women’s Turkey Programme Presence welcomes project proposals to implement activities and deliver results under outputs 1.1 and 1.2 (above) targeting Syrian women and host community nationals primarily in Gaziantep (with possible extension to other cities with large Syrian populations) through the following groups:

Funding Information

The budget of the proposed intervention shall be minimum USD 60,000 and maximum USD 80,000.

Timeframe

The project will commence upon signature of partnership agreement with the selected organization/s and will end by 30 November 2019.
