UN Women CFPs to support NGOs, CBOs, and Academic Organizations in Liberia

UN Women CFPs to support NGOs, CBOs, and Academic Organizations in Liberia

Deadline: 04-Mar-22

UN Women is calling for proposals to provide services associated with the UN WOMEN requirement for Responsible Party (Non-Governmental Organization, Community Based Organizations (CBOs) and Academic Organizations).

UN Women’s goal in Liberia is to promote women’s human rights and gender equality which are key in sustaining and furthering achievements in stability and development.

In this regard, UN Women Biennial Workplan 2022-2023 is connected to five corporate priority areas: women’s leadership and political participation; enhancing women’s economic empowerment (WEE); engaging women in all aspects of peace and security processes (WPS); advancing women’s rights to live free from violence (VAW) and Gender-responsive Budgeting and Governance (GRB).

GRB in recent time has emerged globally as a tool for creating a direct linkage between social and economic policies through a gender analysis of plans and budgets for an inclusive impact. Liberia’s national policy on gender responsive planning and budgeting describes the impediments to national planning and budgeting and recognizes the national budget as a powerful tool when combined with planning interventions for achieving development objectives.
