USAID CFPs: HIV Prevention among Adolescent Girls and Young Women in South Africa

UNDP is seeking call for proposals from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), including NGOs for small grants to provide legal aid including legal counsel and representation, as well as support legal empowerment and service provision for women and people living with HIV.

UNDP, through the Access to Justice, Security and Human Rights Programme, and within the framework of the Joint UN Team on AIDS (JUNTA) in South Sudan, is supporting the provision of legal aid, legal empowerment, as well as service provision to women, girls, and PLHIV.

Organization must have a presence in the proposed state of implementation, as well as be able to demonstrate capacity to identify PLHIV and other relevant, key vulnerable groups such as persons at risk of infection. The JCCs will provide direct legal counsel and representation, legal empowerment, as well as service provision for PLHIV. These activities will include supporting case registration, referral, and adjudication in statutory courts PLHIV. Further, the implementing partner will provide legal advice, training, awareness raising, as well as counselling, trauma-healing, and/or psychosocial support to these groups. Qualifying CSOs must be able to clearly demonstrate how they plan to identify beneficiaries in an innocuous manner.
