Flood Resilience Program in Pakistan

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) hereby invites you to submit a Proposal to this Call for proposal (CFP) to implement activities in Southern Rakhine.

The Responsible Party will work with UNDP to provide early recovery support to highly vulnerable communities in Rakhine affected by recent flooding events and COVID-19. This will build on the first phase of UNDP support in Rakhine which addressed unmet humanitarian needs in the flood-affected townships.

Funding Information

Proposal amount for this Early recovery support for flood and COVID-19 affected communities in Rakhine in a multi-risk context should fall within $81,500 (Eighty-one thousand USD dollars).

Duration of Work: The contract is expected to start in January 2022 and be completed not later than 31 May 2022.

To achieve these results, the organization will undertake the following activities:

Geographical Location

The proposed intervention will be implemented in southern Rakhine. Based on preliminary assessment and consultations carried out by UNDP, the following townships have been identified as potential target sites but are subject to confirmation by the results of Activity I (a to b) as enumerated in Section B of this TOR: Gwa, Kyaintali and Thandwe, Toungup.

Eligibility Criteria

An NGO is eligible to be considered by UNDP based on the NGO Request for Information (RFI) and A Capacity Assessment Checklist (CACHE) templates that submitted. Only qualified NGO/CSO is eligible to apply for this Call for Proposal.
