UN Women ACO Call for Proposals for Responsible Parties - Spotlight Initiative (Afghanistan)

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has announced the proposals for Provision of Cash for Work (CFW) Assistance for Women at Risk in Five Provinces of Afghanistan.

This project is part of an integrated response of UN Women Afghanistan to the ongoing humanitarian and economic crisis. UN Women Afghanistan plans to provide emergency recovery and sustain livelihoods of vulnerable women in most marginalized communities especially in rural areas through Cash for Work initiatives, to ensure that the most vulnerable women do not have to deplete all their capitals and that they do not fall below the poverty line during the crisis.

The budget range for this proposal should be $ 300,000 – $ 400,000 for 400 women beneficiaries in five provinces – (for 12 Months)

Project’s Outcome

Women at risk in the five provinces (Bamyan, Balkh, Kandahar, Nangarhar and Herat) in the five regions of Central highland, North, South, East and West across Afghanistan have better livelihoods through access to CfW interventions
