The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is inviting proposals from civil society organizations for the socio-economic reintegration of victims of trafficking deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The joint project of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) “Support to the National Authority for of torture and the National Authority for Combating Trafficking in Persons “is part of the general access to rights implemented jointly by UNDP and OHCHR in support to the Tunisian authorities.
This cooperation between UN institutions and the government Tunisian aims to strengthen the system of protection of human rights, in particular of women, young people and vulnerable people, to make it more accessible and in line with standards international.
Funding Information
- The financial support proposed by UNDP will be between 25,000 and 50,000 TND per project.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a civil society organization with expertise in the field of human rights and/or the socio-economic reintegration of vulnerable populations, experience in the fight against trafficking in persons, and the socio-economic reintegration of victims of trafficking would be a bonus.
- Be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action and not be limited to one role intermediary.
- Be independent of political parties/movements.
- Compliance with the provisions of Law No. 2018-48 relating to the declaration of assets and interests fight against illicit enrichment and conflict of interest.
- Registration in the national register of enterprises in accordance with the provisions of the law n ° 2018-52.
