UNFI Food Equity Project Grant in the US

Grant Competition for Supporting Tourism Supply Chain Greening in Rural Areas (Georgia)

Deadline: 16-May-22

UNFI Foundation is pleased to announce an open call for the UNFI Food Equity Project Grant to create a more equitable food system for all.

The Foundation can work to solve the problem of food insecurity. They are focused on building a better future from the ground up, starting in the backyards. Whether the organizations are newly established or have been around for generations, they will shed light on new ideas and help them grow into something transformative. Access to healthy food should be a fundamental right, and they are committed to doing their part and partnering to help create food equity for all.

The Foundation will partner with one or more local nonprofit organization, promoting food equity, eliminating hunger and improving public health to make meaningful change. Their aid is more than the grant dollars. They will support not only with financial assistance, but with access to their internal expertise in logistics, transportation and more.
