The Cobb County Government is pleased to announce a call for applications for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program to provide communities with resources to address a wide range of unique community development needs.
The CDBG program provides annual grants on a formula basis to Entitlement Communities as a means to support viable communities by providing decent housing, a suitable living environment, and opportunities to expand economic opportunities, principally for low and moderate-income persons.
Two (2) virtual application workshops have been scheduled to provide nonprofit organizations an opportunity to learn more about the application process and information to assist with strengthening their organization’s grant application.

- Acquisition
- Commercial/ Residential Rehabilitation
- Removal of Architectural Barriers for Accessibility
- Construction/ Reconstruction
- Equipment Installation.
