The Community Foundation of Abilene is inviting applications for its Mental Health (APC Endowment Fund) Grant which is awarded to area non-profit organizations that are increasing access to mental health treatment for underserved populations.
Focus Areas
The grantmaking will focus on:
- Crisis intervention programs;
- Assistance for out-patient programs, including patient drug therapy needs;
- Programs serving military and dependents (retired and active duty);
- The committee will reserve the right to grant funds during special circumstances, specifically in the occurrence of a community-wide crisis event.
Funding Information
$5,000 to $15,000
Duration
The grant application and all required documentation is due online by 5:00 pm, August 1, 2022. Funding decisions will be communicated no later than September 1, 2022.
Grant Restrictions
The grant will not fund capital projects, fund endowments, deficit financing and debt retirement, or fundraising events.
Eligibility
Applicant must have an IRS 501 (c)(3) designation and provide services in Abilene, Texas.
