The U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Water (US-PCASW) is seeking concept notes for its Research Grant Program in Water 2016-17 with an aim to address water-related issues impeding socioeconomic development of Pakistan.
The goal of the USPCAS-W Research Program is to stimulate competitive and innovative applied research that is multi-disciplinary in nature and developed within the broader context of the water-development nexus to support the achievement of sustainable development goal on water.

Funding Information
Maximum amount permissible for each research grant is Rs. 3.0 million.
Eligibility Criteria
- All registered Research Institutes, Universities (HEC approved), Non-Governmental organizations (NGOs), and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) with minimum of 5 years’ experience in applied and policy-oriented research related to water issues are eligible to apply for research grants.
- The private organizations (NGOs/CSOs) must at least be registered for a minimum period of 5 years prior to applying for this research grant program.

- Announcement of short listed proposals: 30 November 2016
- Submission of detailed research proposals: 31 December 2016
- Announcement of selected proposals: 20 January 2017
- Award of contracts: 31 January 2017
