The United States Government represented by the United States Agency for International Development in Ethiopia (USAID/Ethiopia) is seeking applications from qualified entities to implement the Eliminate Tuberculosis from Ethiopia (ETBE) Activity through a five-year Cooperative Agreement mechanism.
The goal of the ETBE Activity is to reduce tuberculosis (TB) incidence and mortality by improving the quality, access, utilization and sustainability of TB services.
USAID/Ethiopia TB resources have helped co-finance several other mechanisms that address underlying health system issues. This includes work under:
- The USAID Health Financing Improvement Program on health financing issues such as domestic resource mobilization and community-based health insurance;
- The Strengthening Ethiopia’s Urban Health Program (SEUHP) project on urban health issues;
- The Human Resources for Health (HRH2030) project on human resource issues, including pressing issues for TB such as pre-service training, attrition and turnover.

Eligibility Criteria
- There are no restrictions on eligibility for this solicitation.
- All qualified U.S. or non-U.S. organizations (other than those from foreign policy restricted countries), including non-profit and for-profit entities, are eligible to apply.
- Faith-based and community organizations that meet the criteria are also eligible to apply.
