The United States Government, as represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Bureau for Economic Growth, Education and Environment (E3), and USAID/Cambodia, have announced the Cambodia Information Technology Partnership for Workforce Development Addendum to the Higher Education for Leadership, Innovation, and Exchange (HELIX) New Partnerships Initiative (NPI) Annual Program Statement (APS).

The purpose of the Cambodian Information Technology Partnership for Workforce Development Activity is to:

USAID/Cambodia seeks to strengthen information technology-related Bachelor’s degree(s) and short-term programs in order to provide Cambodian graduates with essential IT skills, critical thinking, soft skills, experiential learning, and internationally recognized certifications and credentials needed by local and international businesses in a digital age and the digital economy. The activity will help to build the labor force needed to enable Cambodian businesses and organizations to have the technical competencies to fulfill their ambitions to expand digital technology and digital access, thus reducing dependence on outside expertise and influence.
