USAID Enhanced HIV Services for Epidemic Control in Dominican Republic

CFAs: Strengthening Gender Sensitive HIV AIDS Response in India

Deadline: 23-May-22

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for a cooperative agreement from qualified entities to implement the “Enhanced HIV Services for Epidemic Control”.

USAID’s main HIV objective in the Dominican Republic (DR) is to timely reach epidemic control – reducing the number of new HIV+ individuals through prevention services and ensuring people living with HIV (PLHIV) are timely enrolled and stay on antiretroviral treatment (ART).

Through the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), USAID focuses on increasing access and quality of HIV services offered to at-risk populations in the DR. The objective of the Enhanced HIV Services for Epidemic Control activity is to provide direct HIV services to attain epidemic control and sustained reduction in HIV transmission, morbidity, and mortality among Haitian migrants and their descendents residing in the DR, as well as other priority populations. The activity will concentrate efforts on the effective provision of decentralized, person-centered HIV, tailored, stigma and discrimination (S&D) free prevention and treatment services at the facility and community levels.
