Grants for Strengthening Kenyan Civil Society Organisations as Actors of Good Governance and Development

The United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Mission in Djibouti (USAID/Djibouti) is seeking applications for a cooperative agreement from qualified entities to implement the Djibouti Citizens Engagement for Advocacy and Accountability Activity.

The objective of the Citizens Engagement for Advocacy and Accountability (CEAA) Activity is to strengthen citizens’ participation and advocacy for more responsive governance to priority public needs.

CEAA will build on previous USAID/Djibouti investments and align with the U.S. Mission’s Integrated Country Strategy (ICS) Goal # 3 – under Mission Objective 3.1: Improve delivery of education, electricity, justice, and health services by furthering collaboration among citizens, civil society, and government, and advocating reforms, in coordination with relevant ministries and other development partners.

Funding Information

  • The CEAA will be a four-year activity for a total estimated cost of $10,000,000 subject to availability of funds.
