USAID Ghana Health Program: Offering Large Grants to NGOs to stimulate Country’s Development Progress

Open Call: USAID Nigeria Global Health Security Activities

Deadline: 19-Oct-22

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Ghana is pleased to announce the Ghana Health Program (GHP) Annual Program Statement (APS).

GHP seeks to accelerate reductions in preventable maternal, newborn, and child morbidity and mortality in geographic focus areas of Ghana. The Ghana Health Program builds on Ghana’s health and development progress to date in advancing the delivery of integrated health services for vulnerable populations.

Goal: The goal of the Ghana Health Program is to strategically contribute to the Government of Ghana’s strategies to reduce preventable maternal, newborn and child deaths, including stillbirths, and improve their overall health and well-being by 2030. Activities are expected to advance Ghana toward increased localization, increasing the capacity of host-country institutions and local organizations to introduce, deliver, scale-up, and sustain the use of evidence-based, quality MNCH, voluntary family planning, malaria, global health security agenda-related and HIV services.
