The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for a cooperative agreement from qualified entities to implement the Performance Accountability Activity.
The Performance Accountability Activity will build on existing Ghanaian strategies, programs and capacities, and leverage related support being provided by USAID and other donors to reinforce ongoing Ghanaian efforts to promote transparent, accountable and inclusive governance over five years. This is essential for achieving higher quality, more responsive public sector service delivery. This Activity focuses on accountability in local public sector service delivery.

- Objective 3: Local Public Service Providers Adhere to Quality Standards
Funding Information
Subject to funding availability and at the discretion of the Agency, USAID intends to provide up to approximately $17.5 Million in total, pursuant to this notice of funding opportunity. USAID intends to award one (1) cooperative agreement; however, USAID reserves the right to award multiple awards, or no awards at all.
Geographic Focus
The Performance Accountability Activity targets 70 districts across the country, made up of 47 out of 55 districts across the Upper West, Upper East, Northern, North East and Savannah regions; and the remaining 23 out of 78 districts across the Oti, Volta, Western and Central regions.
Eligibility Criteria
USAID welcomes applications from organizations that have not previously received financial assistance from USAID. Faith-based organizations are eligible to apply for federal financial assistance on the same basis as any other organization and are subject to the protections and requirements of Federal law. The Recipient must be a responsible entity.
