The USAID Jordan Local Enterprise Support Project (LENS) is seeking applications for its Business Service Providers (BSP) Private Sector Transformation and Service Support Grant Program.
The primary purpose of this grant is to provide support to Business Service Providers (BSP) looking to create or develop initiatives aimed at fostering local economic growth for existing operational businesses that are owned or partially-owned by Syrians, or employ Syrians.
The grant program is designed to facilitate and encourage BSPs to increase the volume and/or value of transactions of local goods and services provided by local communities that will have an impact on the employment of, or the increase in revenue of Syrians working in Jordan.
Grant Information
- The requested amount must not exceed JOD100,000.
- The implementation period must not exceed six months (6 months).
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be a qualified national or international entity with a local registration in Jordan. The applicant can be a private, non-profit organization, universities, research organizations, professional associations and relevant special interest associations.
- The Applicant must already work with Syrian populations in Jordan and have all necessary approvals related to its work by the relevant Jordanian authorities.
- Applicant must be officially registered with the appropriate Jordanian supervisory body or ministry with headquarters based in Jordan for at least three years.
- Have valid licenses required to operate in their field.
