Peabody Community Fund in the UK

Deadline: 11 September 2017

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is inviting applicants from eligible U.S. non-profit nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), for-profit NGOs willing to forgo their fee, private voluntary organizations (PVOs), Philippine-based NGOs, universities, foundations, consortiums, and international organizations for a Cooperative Agreement to implement a five-year program entitled, “TB Innovations and Health Systems Strengthening”.

The aim of this program is to strengthen national and regional level implementation of the National TB Strategic Plan by providing state-of-the-art capacity building and technical expertise to scale-up TB and DR-TB prevention, detection and treatment.

The USAID/Philippines Health Project (2017-2022) will support the Philippines by improving the health for underserved1 Filipinos. For the Philippines to meet its own health goals and achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for health, a far greater proportion of Filipinos must consistently practice healthy behaviors and seek and receive quality care through a functioning and sustainable health system.
