USAID/Vietnam: Enhancing Worker-Management Relations in Vietnam

USAID/Vietnam is seeking applications to develop a Public Private Partnership (PPP) for a new four‐year activity titled “Enhancing Worker‐Management Relations in Vietnam.”  USAID’s goal of this activity is to have strengthened Vietnamese capacity to ensure Vietnamese workers and employers engaging in Social Dialogue to communicate effectively on issues ranging from worker grievances to production practices, ensuring continued improvements in productivity, stability and worker rights in targeted light manufacturing sectors.

USAID/Vietnam is co‐designing this activity with a group of private sector brands which have significant investment in Vietnam and are committed to strengthening the capacity of Vietnamese workers and employers to engage in social dialogue.  Representatives of these organizations have participated in various design workshops, and will continue to be engaged throughout the procurement process.

Activity Goal

USAID’s overarching goal of this activity is to have strengthened Vietnamese capacity to ensure Vietnamese workers and employers are equipped to communicate effectively on issues ranging from worker grievances to production practices, ensuring continued improvements in productivity, stability and worker rights in targeted light manufacturing sectors.
