Voice is seeking Applications for its Niger Empowerment Grant to address informal groups or organizations to raise awareness, promote transformational leadership, build self-confidence and combat the stigmatization of the most marginalized and discriminated groups.
Voice is an innovative grant mechanism that supports the most marginalized and discriminated people in 10 low- and low-middle income countries in Africa and Asia . It aims to amplify and connect the voices hitherto unknown in the concern of not leaving anyone behind.
Voice is an initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands as part of their framework called ‘Dialogue and Dissent’ and is executed through a consortium between Oxfam Novib and Hivos .
Funding Information
- The amounts of the grant for empowerment range from 5 000 Euro up to 25 000 Euro and on an ongoing basis at national level.
- Empowerment grants are small grants with a maximum implementation period of 24 months.
Criteria
- In terms of minimum requirements, applicant’s association must have some form of registration with a bank account on its behalf.
- Applications can be completed on an ongoing basis and the Voice team in Niger organizes two review cycles per year.
