Voice’s Uganda Influencing Grants: Amplifying the Voice of Marginalised and Discriminated Groups

FOMA inviting Applications for Small Grants

Deadline: 31 January 2017

Voice is currently inviting organisations and networks for its Uganda Influencing Grants to strengthen their lobby and advocacy capacities and amplify the voice of marginalised and discriminated groups.

Influencing grants are meant for (more established) organisations and networks to strengthen their lobby and advocacy capacities and amplify the voice of marginalised and discriminated groups.

Voice will therefore prioritize applications focusing upon Women facing exploitation, abuse and violence, ethnic minorities and youth. Voice in Uganda is especially interested in receiving applications that consider cross-marginalisation – that is interventions that acknowledge the different levels of marginalisation among a target group and develop strategies to reach the most marginalised and discriminated people of a particular target group. Such groups are more likely to face further exclusion due to multiple factors of marginalisation.

Funding Information

For Uganda, influencing grants range from €25,000 to €200,000.
