They are passionate believers in community organisation that inspire the principles of Health and Wellbeing, Family and Community and Fit for Life. This passion led to the creation of the Westfund Community Grants Program.

- They support organisations and initiatives that care for families and meet a real need in their communities.
- Health and Wellbeing
- Health and wellbeing doesn’t just mean ticking the box of 30 minutes on the treadmill each day. They are committed to a holistic view of health and wellbeing that incorporates good mental, physical and emotional health. They support organisations that share this commitment and initiatives that promote and encourage a healthy approach to life and general wellbeing.
- Fit for Life
- Being Fit for Life is about having the skills and tools to thrive. Aligned with the belief in holistic health and wellbeing, they support organisations and initiatives who join their in encouraging communities to increase and sustain healthy exercise, an increase in physical movement and getting active.
Funding Information
- The total maximum amount payable for a Westfund Community Grant is $2500.
Selection Criteria
- Does the application align to one of the Westfund Community Grants pillars? – Can the organisation show how and why they are aligned to their chosen Program pillar (Health and Wellbeing, Family and Community or Fit for Life)?
- Does the project/event/program have a clear concept and concrete plan and objectives?
- Does the project/event/program meet a real need within the community? Is it an appropriate, clear and measurable response to this need?
- The knowledge and experience to get the job done:
- Does the applicant have the knowledge, resources and capacity to deliver on their proposed event, project or program?
- Promoting healthy communities:
- Is the project/event/program providing a significant health related benefit?
