Women’s Fund in Georgia has announced a new grant competition for “Strengthening and Sustainability of Women’s Groups and Organizations”.

The grant competition is supported by the German Women’s Fund Philia (filia.die frauenstiftung). The Ukrainian Women’s Fund, the Armenian Women’s Fund and the Women’s Fund in Georgia plan to implement projects in their own countries for the program “Civil Society and Movement for Safe Spaces Needed for Growth.

The grant program aims to create a favorable environment for the growth and sustainability of women’s rights activists and advocates in Georgia, as well as encouraging inter-governmental or regional cooperation.

Grant Information

The maximum amount of grant is € 5000, which is intended for organizational reflection and development of applicants, as well as organizational capabilities, their well-being, security, strategic and communication planning, sustainability, and inter-segmentation opportunities for increasing the leadership and strategic skills of their visibility, infrastructure, group members. Cooperate, support the creation of strategic alliance and other needs.

Duration

The maximum duration of the project is 12 months (October, 2018 – October, 2019).
