The Women’s Fund of Weld County is seeking proposals for its grant program. It was founded in 1999 by women from the community dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls.

The Women’s Fund, a charitable fund of the Weld Community Foundation, was established with the purpose of creating a permanent fund to find, fund and nurture programs that address unmet needs of women and girls in Weld County to enable them to become self-confident, independent, contributing members of the community. Over the life of the fund, more than $340,000 has been awarded from The Women’s Fund to Weld County organizations.

Selection Process

  • The Grants Committee will begin review of received grant applications beginning July 15. Clarification requests regarding applications will be emailed to applicants in August.
  • They evaluate grant applications using many ratings, including our Funding Focus and Criteria (below).  Please refer to these guidelines before writing and submitting your grant application to ascertain if your project is aligned with their guidelines.

The following are required items to apply for a grant from the Women’s Fund of Weld County:

  • Grant Application – Available June 1 – August 31
  • Project Budget worksheet (only this budget form will be accepted)
  • Grant Evaluation Form (for current grantees who are reapplying)
  • 501(c)(3) documentation or equivalent.
