World Wildlife Fund (WWF) – New Zealand is seeking applications for its Environmental Education Action Fund (EEAF) that aims to support schools and communities who, as part of their learning, are taking hands-on action to address an environmental issue.

Effective environmental education is about education in, about and for the environment. It doesn’t reach its full potential until learners have personalised their knowledge, made decisions on how to address issues, and reflected on that action.

Funding Information

The maximum fund amount that can be applied for is $15,000. Projects can be funded for up to three consecutive years, but new applications will need to be made for each successive year.

Note: The fund is about taking action. There is no funding for awareness, landscaping/ground maintenance, eco/enviro centre buildings, overseas travel, research projects or government authorities.
