Applications are open for the YES FOUNDATION Social Film Grant in association with UNDP India that is a competitive film production fund for exceptionally talented emerging filmmakers to make 1-minute Public Service Films on Sustainable Development Goals. YES FOUNDATION Social Film Grant aims to entertain, educate and engage people with the Sustainable Development Goals through your 1-minute Public Service Film!
Grant Size
Grant winners will receive up to INR 4 lakh each to make their films.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only Indian inhabitants, residing in India, who are above eighteen (18) years of age (as of January 1, 2016) and who have either written or conceived the original concept or deemed to have obtained all or any necessary copy rights of written or cinematographic reproduction of the submitted idea as well as obtained necessary clearances from the legal owners of the idea to submit for competition and production of their submitted entry, are eligible to participate in the Competition.
- Each Contestant must ensure that his or her participation in the Competition is lawful in accordance with the applicable laws. The Foundation does not make any representations, express or implied and is not liable in relation for any legal transgressions by Contestants.
- The Grant and the call for entries are for individual creative professionals including film-makers ONLY; producers, applicants are expected to have complete creative control of their project. Producers or third-party representatives of film-makers, production companies, student bodies or any other registered entities public or private are not eligible to apply.
