The Community Foundation of Lorain County’s Youth Fund is now open for non-profit organizations and teachers who provide youth development and educational opportunities to youth in Lorain County.
The Youth Fund included 8th through 12th graders from across Lorain County who meet monthly to learn about the Community Foundation, grantmaking, development, and issues affecting youth. The teens review their own grant proposals and make funding recommendations to the Community Foundation’s Board of Directors.
Areas of Interest
Areas of interest include:
- after school enrichment,
- community service,
- arts and culture, and
- many more.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Community Foundation of Lorain County has various funding opportunities for non-profit organizations that serve Lorain County residents in Arts and Culture, Education and Youth, Health and Human Services, and Strengthening Lorain County.
