Deadline: 27-Nov-2025
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with Cyber Buddha and hosted on MyGov, invites young creators aged 12–14 years to participate in India’s first Cyber Security Reels Competition — the Hashtag Suraksha Cyber Security Reels Competition (Junior Category).
Participants can use stories, rhymes, or simple visuals to explain safe online behavior, strong passwords, privacy awareness, and how to identify fake messages or links. The goal is to make learning about online safety fun and relatable.
With parental or school consent being mandatory, it ensures a guided and secure participation process. Through engaging storytelling and simple visuals, participants can highlight how to protect personal information, recognize phishing attempts, and communicate respectfully online.
Winners stand a chance to earn exciting rewards, including the prestigious Cyber Shield Trophy, Certificates from CERT-In, and cash prizes for the top three entries. The top seven runners-up will also be recognized with medals and certificates, acknowledging their efforts and creativity in promoting safe online behavior.
This unique competition aims to help Indian students aged 12 to 14 years understand essential aspects of online safety while giving them the freedom to express their creativity.
Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, clarity of message, and relevance to cyber safety. The competition not only tests the participants’ innovative thinking but also strengthens their understanding of how to navigate the digital world responsibly.
The deadline for applications is 27 November 2025.
