The Urban Intonations is seeking nominations for its Awards to create and promote new urban media in the regions of Russia by supporting media projects developed by young professionals.
By taking part in the competition, you will be able to:
- present your own projects to a wide audience, gain new knowledge, experience and skills within the framework of educational sessions with specialized experts;
- get expert support in launching projects (professional assessment, revision and post-support of the developed media projects);
- in case of victory, to claim rodvinut own project at the sites of the organizers and partners;
- undergo an internship in large Russian companies working in the field of urbanism, content creation, media;
- participate in the largest event of the year on the topic of the urban environment, as well as the celebration of the 800th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod.
Categories
- Urban Media
- A media project to fill and promote a portal, blog, online media, podcast, community in social media and instant messengers, reflecting the events of a particular region. Review of dumplings, space analytics, news, etc. For example, online magazines “Bolshaya Derevnya”, “Paper”, “Downtown”, social networks of the “Architectural excess” project.
- Immersive Project
- Creation of the effect of presence for the user, full immersion in the plot, or the possibility of personal involvement in the action. Examples include interactive landscaping maps, applications for collecting opinions on landscaping projects, interactive city tours, etc.
- Play: Gamification of Urban Space
- A project that uses urban spaces as an element of the game, involving residents on a journey through the city or in exploring it using game techniques. Examples: Pockemon Go, a city map in Minecraft, the Kolkhozometer game and others.
- Visual Content
- The best visual content for urban development. This could be a cycle of infographics or posters, a book of urban memes, an urban sticker pack, a project of a photo exhibition, a blog about urban changes on YouTube, etc.
- Out-of-competition nomination for schoolchildren and students
- Projects on topics of 4 main nominations for schoolchildren of middle and senior classes, students of secondary vocational education. You can take part from 14 to 17 years old.
- Special direction “Formation of a comfortable urban environment”
- In each nomination (except for the out-of-competition for participants under 17 years old), a special area dedicated to the development and creation of media is allocated, the task of which is to popularize the national project “Housing and the Urban Environment. The winners of this category will have the opportunity to undergo an internship at ANO “National Priorities” – the state flagship for information support of national projects. Taking into account the special direction in the competition, there are 9 nominations.
What do you get:
- “Mediakits” will provide the winners of the main nominations with comprehensive support in launching projects , and the organizers and partners will help promote the winners’ projects at their sites.
- Tatyana Simakova, editor-in-chief of The Village, will choose among the winners the most interesting, in her opinion, project and will personally provide consulting assistance, teach and help with development within a month.
- Anton Bulanov, an expert on personal strategies, brands, psychologist, ideologist of the Russian Railways, Sapsan, Allegro, INVITRO brands, will invite one winner to his own course at the HSE.
- The winners of the special directions will undergo an internship at the ANO National Priorities . This is an opportunity to upgrade your skills and work in a team of cool professionals, masters of communication and media experts. As a bonus – an extensive database of useful contacts in your phone book.
- The winner of the out-of-competition nomination will not only take an internship at City Renovations , but will also be able to use all their facilities to launch and promote the project.
Eligibility Criteria
- Each directed media project must have a local identity (refer to a specific locality, territory). Ideas for new media projects are accepted for the competition . Previously implemented or existing ones will not be accepted for participation.
- Students and graduates of universities and colleges aged 18 to 35 are allowed to participate (with the exception of the Out-of-Competition nomination for schoolchildren, where you can take part from 14 to 17 years old ).
