The Thomson Reuters Foundation (TRF) is seeking applications for its Reporting on Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery.

The Thomson Reuters Foundation hosts news reporting training on human trafficking. and enslaving people in the modern era in 5 days via online system This is a unique opportunity for journalists in Thailand to learn practical skills and knowledge.

Ready to work according to the concept presenting their news headlines this was guided by an experienced Thompson Reuters Foundation journalist. It is also an opportunity to listen to experts from NGOs working against human trafficking.

The workshop combines specialized expertise and hands-on training. Focusing on producing high-impact news for widespread dissemination with support from the Laudes Foundation.

Workshop participants will learn efforts to set global standards to combat human exploitation. Into slavery in the modern era relevant basic conventions international tool and new legally binding protocols and set foreign countries take action against enslavement seriously.

The focus of the upbringing was ethical reporting of enslavement and working with caution with survivors who have experienced trauma. Exploring and working to transcend ideas and stereotypes that journalists used to trust Workshops also cover safety issues, especially working with news sources and reporting crime.

It is an opportunity for journalists to learn first-hand from other investigative journalists or new and unique news coverage affect the policy change Encourage people to call for change or bringing the offenders of human trafficking to justice Workshop participants will meet both experts and those facing the problem of the anti-slavery movement and migration crisis including those who have been victims of human trafficking who have turned to help others, moving from “victim” to “survivor”
