The El-Hibri Foundation is inviting nominations to awards an annual $40,000 Peace Education Prize to individuals who have dedicated their lives to building inclusive communities in the United States and building the capacity of others to create positive social change.

The prize is intended to celebrate and encourage individuals who embody the principles of peace, justice, and inclusion.

Award winners are announced in the fall and presented at the El-Hibri Foundation’s annual Peace Awards Ceremony.

The Foundation defines peace education broadly. In their view, it encompasses a range of activities undertaken in a variety of settings designed to build thriving, engaged, inclusive, and collaborative communities:
