The Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA) is currently seeking applications for its “Humanities Call: Meaning-making Research Initiatives (MRI)” to  promote research by African and Diaspora scholars in the Social Sciences and Humanities that can contribute to a better understanding of Africa and its place in the world.

The Council offers up to USD 35,000 for each winning project.
