United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking applications for its programme entitled “Training on project design, proposal development and project management for EU Horizon 2020 Programme” with a purpose to prepare and conduct training on project design, proposal development and project management for Horizon 2020 Programme.
The objective of this programme is to leverage existing research capacity in Serbia and support country-level and international research for better integration of science and environmental policy contributing thus to improved implementation of multilateral environmental agreements in Serbia.
Eligibility Criteria
The potential bidders (professional services company/agency/organization/consortia) shall provide a team of at least 2 experts with the competencies as listed below.
The Expert No.1, Team Leader shall meet at least the following requirements:
- Education:
- University degree in economics, public policy, management or other relevant area.
- General Professional Experience:
- At least 7 years of professional experience in project proposal writing and management
- Specific professional experience:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in providing trainings on FP7 and Horizon 2020 programmes
- Proven experience in proposal preparation for successful FP7 and Horizon 2020 projects
- Experience in preparation of project budgets, financial planning and management of FP7 and Horizon 2020 projects
- Experience in development and management of international projects, especially EU funded projects
- Good knowledge of EU institutions and policies, as well as EU and other international funding instruments
- Experience with environmental projects would be considered as an additional asset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must
- Fluency in English language
- Fluency in Serbian would be considered as an additional asset.
The Expert No.2, Trainer shall meet at least the following requirements:
- Education:
- University degree in public policy, economic, management or other relevant area.
- General Professional Experience:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in project proposal writing and management.
- Specific professional experience:
- At least 3 years of professional experience in trainings on FP7 and Horizon 2020
- Experience in preparation of project budgets, financial planning and management of FP7 and Horizon 2020 projects
- Experience in development and management of international projects, especially EU funded projects
- Good knowledge of EU institutions and policies, as well as EU and other international funding instruments
- Fluency in English language
- Fluency in Serbian would be considered as an additional asset.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in preparation and execution of trainings on Horizon 2020 (provide a list that contains at least 3 relevant references for the period of last 5 years, including name of the client, contact person’s name with contact details);
- Proven experience in development of project proposals for FP7 and Horizon 2020 programmes that were accepted and received funding (provide a list of at least 3 successful projects for the period of last 7 years with details including implementation period, names of the countries where the projects were implemented, budgets);
- Proven organizational capacity to absorb, analyze and synthesize large amounts of complex information within tight deadlines.
