Nominations are currently open for 2017 Ingenious Awards for ICT innovation and creativity to make a difference in people’s lives.
Award Categories
- Large Private Business – All private Canadian businesses operating for profit with greater than 500 employees who are using technology to build or transform their business.
- Large Public Organization – All federal, provincial and municipal government departments and all public institutions including healthcare and education institutions, with greater than 500 employees who are using technology to build or transform their organization.
- SME Public or Not-for Profit Organization – All federal, provincial and municipal government departments and all public institutions, including healthcare and education institutions as well as not-for-profit or non-government within Canada with fewer than 500 employees who are using technology to transform their mission and goals.
- Medium Sized Private Business – Any private Canadian business with between between 100-500 employees in any sector who are using technology to build or transform their business.
- Small Sized Private Business – Any private Canadian business with fewer than 100 employees in any sector who are using technology to build or transform their business.
- New Ingenious Spark – Any private Canadian business that has an ingenious spark of a new technology product or service that is in the early stage of business growth. See specific criteria on Ingenious Spark nomination form
Award
Ingenious Awards winners will receive:
- Recognition at the Ingenious Awards Gala Dinner, taking place in Toronto November 9, 2017
- National, local and regional media coverage. All media coverage will be shared with sponsors and posted on the dedicated Ingenious Awards website
- Extensive coverage on both the Ingenious Awards website and the ITAC website
- A beautifully crafted and inscribed award designed by Canadian artist Andrew O’Malley
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible entities include:
- All public, private and not-for-profit organizations operating within Canada
- All projects nominated must take place in Canada to be eligible for this award
- All projects nominated must have taken place within the past two years (completed no earlier than June 2015)
