Deadline: 30-Sep-2025
If you are a UK-based individual or not-for-profit organisation looking for funding for a project or service aimed at advancing women’s and girls’s lives for the better, then this grant could be for you!
This funding round will focus preferentially on supporting projects/initiatives/services for women and girls in BUSINESS and in STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. As always, they welcome applications in other areas too, but preference will be given to applications in the focus areas if demand exceeds funds available.
While projects in other areas are also welcome, applications that align with these focus areas will be given priority if funding demand exceeds availability.
The foundation offers its main “Another Way Women’s Foundation grant”, which awards up to £5,000. This grant is designed to seed projects or services that spark system change and demonstrate real impact. All applicants must use the new “Sept25” application form—submissions using outdated versions will not be considered.
This funding aims to partner with organizations rooted in community values and committed to women’s advancement. Eligible initiatives include pilot projects or service delivery programs that promote sustainable impact. As part of the application, proposals must clearly describe resource use, timelines, anticipated outcomes, success metrics, reporting methods, and strategies for long-term sustainability or exit.
Only UK-based, not-for-profit entities operating for public benefit may apply; personal gain or self-interest projects are ineligible. Applications should be sharp, with SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals. Upon receipt, applications will be acknowledged via email. Larger grant applicants will be invited for a follow-up conversation with the foundation team. The steering committee will assess all submissions, perform due diligence, and aim to notify applicants within four to six weeks of the closing date.
Successful grantees typically receive funds within two to three weeks and are expected to provide a brief impact report, along with a photo and testimonial for use in the foundation’s communications. This funding opportunity offers a valuable route for changemakers to bring bold, community-driven projects to life—supporting women and girls across the UK to thrive and lead.
