Deadline: 25-Jan-23
Do you have a business idea? A problem you think needs to be solved in a new and innovative way? Or, maybe a policy solution or social impact strategy? Are you interested in learning more about entrepreneurship? If yes, then apply for the Collide’s Winter 2023 Program.
About the Collide Program
- Collide is a six-week program designed to help give students a taste of the skills needed to be an entrepreneur.
- 90% of start-ups fail. There are a lot of reasons for this – but a common reason is that there is a mismatch between what founders create, and what a potential customer actually wants to use and pay for. This is why high-quality customer discovery is important.
- Collide help’s students learn how to match a problem to a solution, determine their business’s value proposition, learn the basics of human-centered design, and much more.
- This program runs twice per year – once in the fall, and once in the winter. The fall program is designed to be introductory, while the winter sessions dive deeper into topics introduced in the fall. Students do not need to attend the fall sessions to participate in the winter cohort but should come with a rough business idea.
- There may be up to one hour of take-home content between sessions. This means the full commitment is three hours per week.
Benefits to Students
- Participants will receive a $200 stipend if they attend all sessions and complete assignments
- Refreshments will be provided
- Eligible for your CCR (Co-Curricular Record)
