The Friends Provident Foundation is inviting six young people to join the panel for the Investing Olympics. This initiative aims to make the world of investing more transparent and push the industry to better serve future generations.
The selected individuals will become part of the Future Generations Panel and help shape how the Investing Olympics functions. They will also support investment decisions involving several million pounds. The panel will meet over seven days between August 2025 and June 2026, including participating in the main Investing Olympics event on Wednesday, 25 March 2026.
Each panelist will receive £200 per day and will be supported by experts in investment and the challenges that future generations face. No prior experience or specific skills are required to apply.
Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old, live in the UK, and be available for all seven days of participation through June 2026. The foundation seeks to assemble a diverse panel that includes voices often excluded from financial decision-making and most vulnerable to future risks.
To ensure fairness, participants will be selected at random, taking into account factors like location, age, gender identity, and personal experiences with marginalisation or environmental risks. Instead of judging applicants by academic or work experience, the goal is to shift power meaningfully to young people and amplify their voices in shaping future investments.
