The United Nations Development Programme is inviting applications from the institutions/organizations. The focus of the portfolio has been primarily women and youth from the marginalized communities across the country. It takes into consideration that women face significant social and economic barriers in participating in India’s workforce.

Under the portfolio, there are several projects being implemented in partnership with  the State Government departments,  private sector entities, and others, in the area of career guidance and counselling, apprenticeships promotion (with industry clusters), micro-enterprise development, strengthening of the farm/non-farm and artisanal values chains, and developing second generations managers.

Objectives

During the course of the engagement, the service provider will be required to successfully design and implement the  Youth Co:Lab 2021-2022 cycle with the National Innovation Challenge and Dialogue,support youth entrepreneurs through an incubation programme (National Springboard Programme), as well as through the facilitation of a multi-stakeholder alliance for youth entrepreneurship.

Scope of work

The service provider, during the course of this engagement will be expected to design and manage the Youth Co:Lab 2021-22 cycle by implementing the communications and outreach strategy, conducting the National Springboard Programme, National Innovation Challenge, the National Innovation Dialogue events and Youth Co:Lab Finale, and creation and facilitation of a multistakeholder alliance on youth entrepreneurship, in consultation with the Youth Co:Lab team and partners.

The overall Youth Co:Lab plan would cover the longterm communications strategy and implementation plan, the National Springboard plan as well the multi stakeholder alliance roll out plan.
