The Intercontinental Biennial is calling for artists from any country to participate in Center Theater Competition featuring new projects.
The competition is open to cast and theater groups over 18 years of age and artists of any nationality. All projects received will be subject to a selection process. The projects selected in the process will be certified and recognized by the Organizing Committee. Out of the group of selected projects, finalist projects are chosen. The winning projects in the competition will be selected from the shortlist. The projects selected, finalists and winners will be recognized at the official recognition ceremony. The selection of works will be the responsibility of the organizing committee.
Only the selected projects, finalists, and winners will be presented during official activities in Panama. Selected projects participate in the presentation in all countries they reach. The global tour includes countries in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. Any objection foreseen or not in the rules will be resolved by the Biennial in a final and unappealable manner.
Participants must send a description of the project in a doc, docx, or PDF file. This should include the author or authors of the play, the name of the project, a brief description, and a link to a video on Youtube, Vimeo, Google Drive, or any other platform where the play, reel, or presentation can be seen. Websites or any other information that helps to have more complete information about the project can also be considered.
Additionally, participants must attach photos and images of the play in a folder, including photos from previous performances. The folder should then be compressed into zip or rar format. The deadline for submission is September 15, 2025.
Projects can be sent using the provided form. If the project information, including images and description, exceeds 8MB, participants can use a file transfer application like Google Drive, OneDrive, Wetransfer, or any other similar application. The form requires the participant’s first and last name, email, and the project description in a document with the extension “doc”, “docx”, or “PDF”. The compressed images folder must also be attached. Once the information has been received, a confirmation email will be sent.
