Entries open for FRH Photo Competition

Deadline: 30-Sep-2025

Whether you’re passionate about photography or just love capturing beautiful holiday moments, the FRH Photo Competition offers a chance to showcase your talent to a global audience of heritage enthusiasts—and win a prize.

Every year, the competition selects the top 9 photographs that best represent religious heritage worldwide. This includes stunning architecture, historical artefacts, and unique religious events. It’s a celebration of the rich diversity and hidden beauty of European religious heritage.

Participants can submit one photo per category: Religious Buildings, Artefacts, and People and Events. The first category focuses on buildings or groups of buildings. The second is for religious objects. The third highlights people or festivities.

The winner will receive an invitation to the 2026 FRH Conference with all expenses covered up to €1,000. Finalists can attend the event at their own cost. Additionally, selected photos will be published and promoted across Europe by FRH.

The competition is open to all, regardless of nationality or professional status. Submissions will be judged by a panel of photographers, artists, and FRH representatives in October 2025. The top three photos in each category will be selected, and from these, one overall winner will be chosen.
