Open Call for SAM Residencies 2023

NOFO: 2023 U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation in Albania

Deadline: 15-Aug-22

The Singapore Art Museum’s (SAM) International Residency Programme is inviting artists, curators, educators, advocates, performance makers and other practitioners from any medium or discipline to apply for its second cycle, focusing on notions of “postindustrialism,” “critical alliances” and/or the possibilities of a transformed future.

The aim of SAM Residencies is to support practitioners throughout their creative process, offer a platform for professional and artistic development, as well as network building. Residents will also be encouraged to involve communities and the public in different ways, through presentations and programs such as talks, workshops and field activities.

Housed at SAM’s new premises in an industrial and expansive warehouse at Tanjong Pagar Distripark, SAM Residencies emphasizes social interaction and engagement.

The 2023 cycle of SAM Residencies will run between July 2023 and December 2024.
