Registrations are open for the School Enterprise Challenge 2016 that is a global award supporting teachers and students to set up real school businesses. It helps them develop key business and entrepreneurship skills in a practical and fun way. The great thing about it is that students and teachers can help generate income for their  schools or for a social cause of their choice!

The programme is FREE and it helps students plan and set up school-based enterprises that:

The challenge is an international awards programme for schools around the world with up to $50,000 in prizes available for the most entrepreneurial schools, teachers and students.

In 2015, 2900 schools from more than 100 countries participated in the Challenge and their businesses ranged from fly fishing in Belize, to an inter-schools newspaper in India and a car wash in South Africa.

How to Apply

Schools can still take part through the Fast Track option. Schools will have access to  all of the educational materials at once and can go through them at their own  pace. Teachers can register their student groups by visiting the website given and following the easy steps.
