Comic Relief announces “Future Lookin’ Good Youth (Safe Place To Be)” Program – United Kingdom

2022 Australia Awards Scholarship in Tuvalu

Deadline: 7 February 2020

Comic Relief has announced a funding program entitled “Future Lookin’ Good Youth (Safe Place To Be)”.

Comic Relief is excited to be working in partnership with The KFC Foundation to advance work under their Safe Place to Be Pillar, recognising that early-intervention is key to ensuring young people can create a positive future where they can live with dignity and access not only basic housing, but the ability to create a happy home in which they feel safe and secure.

They would like to fund proposals focused on young people aged 11 – 25 years old from groups under-served by current services, because they believe that services should be inclusive and support those most in need. They will only fund proposals that clearly outline how they will support young people to succeed in adulthood. For example, by providing holistic support through mentoring or coaching, building life skills or improving young people’s ability to gain sustainable employment.

Proposals must clearly demonstrate how they will help young people build a positive future, so they build the skills necessary to live with dignity and access not only basic housing and create a happy home in which they feel safe and secure and be working with one or more of the following priority groups:
