TWAS: OWSD-Elsevier Foundation Awards for Early-Career Women Scientists in the Developing World

The Elsevier Foundation, the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) and TWAS are currently seeking nominations for an award to recognize and spotlight talented early career women scientists living and working in developing countries.

Benefits

Five women scientists from Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean are celebrated each year for their research excellence, receiving a cash prize of USD5,000, a year’s free subscription to Science Direct and an all-expenses-paid trip to the annual edition of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) conference which takes place in the USA in February.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, nominees must be early-career scientists (within 10 years of graduating with a PhD degree).
